I got this pad (the wide and long) for a last minute winter camping trip in Yellowstone. It was seriously cold, -15 the first night. Extra weight was not a problem as I had a sled for gear, but this pad is fairly light anyway. I was totally warm, it did not make noise when moving, and it wasn't uncomfortable as my previous winter pad was. Easy to blow up and deflate, I didn't use the inflater bag. The raised sides; I didn't fall off ever.

Maybe it's just because I'm a side-sleeper and have big hips, but no matter what I do, I can't seem to get a good nights sleep on this thing. I feel like I wake up every hour and have to turn over because my hips hurt so bad! I wanted to like this pad, and I've honestly not found *any* lightweight pad that is truly just flat-out comfortable, but my hips hurt more on this one than perhaps any of my other pads (Big Agnes, Thermarest).

I love everything about this pad - I'm reviewing the Long / Insulated version. I really can't say enough about it... super comfortable, quiet, and no more slipping off the pad. I've slowly been refining my camping sleep rig.. and this is the finishing touch! WELL DONE NEMO!!

Picked up the Quasar 3D Pad after repeated nights sliding off my ultra lightweight (yet very slick) pad made by *ahem* another supplier. A friend recommended and I actually made the purchase from the campsite - ha! It's been a game-changer, especially when paired with my Disco sleeping bag. Finally, a good night's sleep, even on a slight angle.

I got one one of the new ground pads, When I got it there was a tiny little ittsy bittsy tiny little hole. I have no idea how it got there. A quick email to customer service, I was able to patch it and made it on my trip. When I made it home, on my door step Monday morning was a brand new ground pad!! Didn't even know it was on the way until I got service back Sunday on the way home! Great company! Great gear! Great everything all the way around. Customer for life.

Have only used the pad 6-7 times so far but there are several pros. Super easy to inflate, holds air overnight even in chilly temps, and packs away very nicely.

This is hands-down the most comfortable sleeping pad I've ever owned or laid down on. The 3D contouring of the pad does contribute noticeably to comfort, and is thoughtfully designed. There are slightly larger baffles to lay your head on, while a shallow depression in the torso/hip area keeps you centered on the pad. Towards the foot end the contouring flattens out, presumably to let your feet fall wherever is most comfortable. Included pump sack takes a bit of practice but functions well and is a nice touch. The storage sack for the pad includes a mini repair kit too. So, how's it sleep? Coming from other pads, I tended to inflate this one pretty firm, and while it was still more comfy than the average pad, it wasn't the cloud dream I hoped for. The magic happens when you use the micro-adjust valve to deflate this thing just a little bit (while you're laying on it!) until you can feel your whole body sink into it slightly. At that point, prepare for the best night of sleep you've ever had on an uneven, rocky patch of ground. A few more notes: -this pad isn't too noisy! Don't expect utter silence, but it is significantly quieter than other ultralight air pads I've had. -the material is quite soft on your skin, and I'd be happy sleeping on it without a pillow, but this soft material also seems difficult to clean and prone to absorbing things like oils. Over time I'm curious how dirty this top fabric might get; for now I make sure to use a pillow or cover the head baffles with a camping towel. -I purchased the WIDE version of this pad, and I'm glad I did (it's so roomy!), but note that most "2-person" backpacking tents will NOT accommodate two wide pads. Prepare to feel like terrible sleeping partner when you realize your mat takes up 70% of the tent floor space.

Recently used on 5-night AT section hike. Slept like I would at home. When awakened would have to remind myself I was not in my own bed.

This is the single best camping equipment upgrade that I've done. This sleeping pad is SO comfortable and not deflate through the night. Also, as a bike packer, it's amazing to have such a comfortable pad that packs down to such a small size. Thank you Nemo- another amazing product.

Extremely comfortable, and easy to inflate. Still a noisy pad, but it's worth it with weight savings. I stayed plenty warm on nights in the 30's with a 20 degree quilt.
