On technical climbs in freezing conditions, you need the warmth, but you don’t need the weight. Loaded with 800-fill ProDown™ insulation, the Summit Breithorn Hooded Down Jacket offers both. It delivers high-level warmth and compressibility while retaining its loft, even in wet conditions.
There’s an attached, helmet-compatible hood and raglan sleeves for full arms-up mobility. We’ve also added underarm gussets for freedom of movement on the ascent. And if things get too hot and sweaty, you can pack this lightweight jacket into its pocket to keep it safely out the way. That’s not all – recycled materials make it better for nature.

I had the Summit LT1 and it was the warmest piece I have ever purchased. Donated to the homeless and always wanted another. For the price this is the best jacket on the market. This jacket was worn in -10 degree weather with only a north face hoodie as a base layer. I can't recommend a better jacket.

The coat was cut upon delivery. So I had to return it. I also feel the material is thinner than paper and wouldn't last a season. This coat is definitely not worth the price.

A great jacket but unfortunately poor durability for such an expensive piece of gear, I love the jacket has a great fit and it's good for different activities. Unfortunately the outer material is not as resistant as I would expect from a high quality product, it's very prone to tearing and breaking down easily, also lots of down get lost through activity especially in the shoulders panels and sleeves. Finally the water repellency is not good at all considering how it's been advertised. I still love the jacket but definitely not as technical as I would expect for a over £300 jacket
