That's because FUTUREFLEECE™ fabric technology optimises the balance of thermo-regulation, weight and packability in this extremely thin layer. And if you're carrying a backpack, seamless shoulders provide extra comfort without the bulk. Summit Series™ layers all work together for optimum performance in terms of breathability, insulation, weather resistance and moisture management.

Quick Drying - Wicking
Quick-drying fabric moves moisture to the surface to evaporate.
Colder Temperatures
Layer it on top of a sweat-wicking baselayer protect yourself from the elements with a windproof or waterproof shell.
Milder Temperatures
Pull it on over a moisture-wicking short or long-sleeve t-shirt when temperatures get chilly.
Close all fastenings
Before cleaning, turn your product inside out and close all Velcro® fastenings and zips to prevent accidental damage.
Slim fit
This garment fits close to the body for a more streamlined look.
Machine wash
Machine wash at 40°C or below with similar colours. To get the best performance out of your gear, wash it as often as necessary to remove impurities, such as sweat, dirt, campfire smoke and cooking odours.
Hang dry
Leave your garment to hang-dry naturally.

What surprised me about this is how thin it is.. and yet the warmth it provides. You can about see through it when you hold it up, and yet... warm. Very impressive. Nice to wear in cooler weather, and I am certain it will make a wonderful layer under my other jackets in winter. Of course, looks amazing. TNF makes the best products.

I have a similar version of this without a zip (and in red). I wish this one extended above the chin and was snug around the face like my other piece. That extends the lower temp range considerably

Hoodie is great, this was an upgrade from the same hoodie from 20 years ago. It was so light I was skeptical if it would keep me warm, but it was just as warm in the background and way lighter and more compressible. A little pricey but worth it!

I own the black one and just bought the pine needle green color. thankfully I did because now the next week, they don't show that color online anymore.
