Very disappointed in this jacket! I bought it just before a 5 day ski trip in Utah. By the end of the second day of the trip, it had multiple rips. I did fall once or twice that day but not too hard. I understand that jackets can sometimes rip when they are snagged, but a jacket marketed for skiing should have far more integrity than this, especially when you're paying over $300. My previous ski jacket (not from North Face) did not rip at all and I used it for 4 seasons. Additionally, the elastic band at the end of the sleeve that holds the inner jacket to the outer jacket broke on the third day while I was simply taking my arm out of the sleeve. Overall, this jacket was made very cheaply compared to its price point so I would not recommend it, especially for skiing.
