I've been true to the Altra brand for 8 years and upon arrival, the shoes looked fantastic. When I put them on, the length was perfect and matched my regular size in Altras. The sticky point is the width of the toe-box, as it it was very narrow and far too tight. This review is in no way to say anything negative about the shoe, but to make others aware that have purchased shoes such as the Lone Peak or Mont Blanc Carbon, these Timp GTX are narrower and I would go try them on in person before making your decision.
