When is additional width needed?
Visible stretching or bulging on the outsides of forefoot materials is a good indicator that additional width may be needed. These sizes are available in many of our Running and Training shoes. In some cases, men can wear women’s styles to achieve a narrow fit and women can wear men’s to get a wide. If this is needed, please use the references above to determine comparable size lengths. Please note that the differences of width between narrow, standard, wide, and extra wide are usually only a couple millimeters and are proportional to the size of the shoe. Most additional width will be found in the forefoot.

I've got about 120 miles on these shoes (all mud, loose and packed dirt trail). Grip is excellent in all conditions, especially on down hill. So far they are showing very little wear on the tread (i'm a slight heel striker) and the uppers are holding up well. Great cushion, but they still feel "accurate" -- not too mushy to where you feel like you don't have full control and "feel" of the trail. Stable, comfortable and cool. This is my second pair of Gel-Trabuco's (I had the Trabuco 11s previously). Before that I was running the GT-2000 trail shoes. They were a hair lighter and equal on comfort/stability, but the glued-on pads on the tread peeled off too soon. The treads on the Trabucos are way tougher and more durable. Worth the very slightly heavier feel.

Absolutely love them! First time getting and feels like I'm walking on clouds. Since I've broken both my feet and my podiatrist said asics would be best for my feet. Next I might try the noose!
