This stove system will work in the mountains and in the rain. It has proven itself in the wind and the wet. I have used this for several enduro trips so far and it hasnt let me down! The lightness of it and size it packs down to was a bog selling point! At the price i bought it for i would tell anyone on the market for a method of heating backpacking food or boiling water that this is the stove they need. I like how this system comes with everything you need for it to work. Theres no "additional accesories". It just works

I love the jet boil line and this one just does it one better. Still super light and compact, but with a larger capacity and the temperature sensor is such a nice thing. I'm always peeking inside my old one being impatient and letting out heat before it's ready, and this makes it much easier! Great for 2-4 people depending on what you're eating. I like the dehydrated food packs, so this is perfect for boiling water to make those, coffee, or hot chocolate.

This is the best stove for heavier camping and backpacking. It is light but also allows me to cook for myself and my son. Love the time it takes to heat the stability.

Boils water in the time they claim. My only complaint is the strap on the side. If you're not careful to move it away from the burner, it will melt the strap.

Great cooking system that is lightweight and mostly self contained (minus utensils). I do wish the bowl on the bottom was connected more securely as there were a couple times it came undone in a bag with extra room.

Boils water for that field ramen in seconds. Super light and packs well. The only complaint I have is that the bowl/cover on the bottom doesn't stay on well.

This is my second Jet Boil. Both are great to take on overnight backpacking trips were having hot water for coffee or a meal. I also use this for SAR and MSAR missions where I may be out for and extended time.
