The Panorama T55 is right in the middle of our Panorama line of backcountry skis, with features and construction that makes it an ideal all-around backcountry ski. The T55 comes with our all-new Paulownia ski core, which makes the T55 significantly lighter than the previous model, and has a profile that performs equally well in soft conditions as in firm snow.
The T55 also features a steel edge that runs the entire length of the ski, providing maximum edge control in all conditions. The ski is also IntelliGrip® Transition skin ready, so you can ski easily knowing that no matter what the mountain throws at you, you’ll always have the right skis for the job.
TRIAXIAL CONSTRUCTION
Interlocking strands of fiberglass and carbon fiber surround the entire core, producing excellent torsional rigidity and strength with light weight and a lively response.
INTELLIGRIP® TRANSITION SKIN
Built for the mountains, Madshus IntelliGrip® Transition skin skis feature a recessed insert which anchors the front of the skin in place and allows for easy swapping or trimming of the skin to suit all skiers, conditions and skill levels. The use of an insert ensures a smooth transition between gliding surface and skin which is critical for decreasing drag and preventing icing under the ski. IntelliGrip® Transition skin skis maintain all the benefits of traditional skin skis, but with more flexibility. This makes these skis the perfect choice for off-piste adventures!
