Similar to my review of the intraknit vest, the inseam of this product is miles away from fitting me. The leg portion goes well into my calf which then goes into a skit boot. The waist goes well past and over my belly button. I'm 5'7" with a short inseam of 28" so I realize I'm out of the average. Even so, no pants go that high over a waist for men. Just really disappointed with fit design overall. Fabric is thick, so only for really cold outings. A bit on that rough side too but i expect it to soften with use.

The knit material was not soft next to ski and the waistband was Ridgid and uncomfortable. Overall fit and length were as expected (size large, 6'3" 205 lbs). Not bad, just disappointing so I returned them.

I bought my first pair of these in preparation for hiking the pacific crest trail, and loved them so much that I now use these as a base layer at work. I'm a snow maker at a ski resort and regularly spend hours at a time in cold, snowy/ wet and windy conditions. These can go several days of intense use before the slightest odor and are warm while not being bulky. One of my favorite parts of the day while on trail was getting to camp and being able to slide these one. They keep their shape/ fit much longer before sagging than any other wool base layer I've tried. My only complaint is that where the inner thighs rub together, the fabric seems to be wearing down more quickly than I'd like considering the price premium. I've started wearing compression shorts underneath and that seems to have helped.
